CH24 Watch of the Year – 15th anniversary edition!
Already for the 15th consecutive time CH24 selects and awards the most interesting new timepieces form the past 12 months. Hereby we present 60 watches nominated by an international jury, in 6 competition categories.
When exactly 15 yeas ago we launched the “CH24 Watch of the Year” project, we had one goal in mind. Every year the watch industry produces a plethora of new models in all possible categories, but only a handful of them deserves to be considered a success. It is those watches we decided to honor with our specially designed and hand crafted statuettes. For the competition to be professional, prestige and creditable, we decided to create in international jury of world renowned watch journalists, who are also collectors, experts in the field and most of all, passionate admirers of the watchmaking craft.
I am delighted that in 15 years we have managed to make the CH24 Watch of the Year competition known both nationally and internationally. The event promotes watchmaking and makes Poland interesting for brands that were not present here before. It also serves as a guide for those looking for new and interesting timepieces.

All 14 of the previous CH24 Watch of the Year competitions resulted in a good few hundreds nominated timepieces, of which 14 has been granted by the jury to be bear the title of the “Grand Prix” – the Watch of the Year by CH24. Final stage of the competition will also reveal two additional prizes. Special Jury Prize is an award established to honor an individual, an institution, a company or an event with significant contribution to the history and promotion of mechanical watchmaking.
Grand Prix of the CH24 Watch of the Year will be awarded to the most interesting watch of the past year. It is selected form amongst the winners in all 6 competition categories.
Public Prize is your part of the WOTY, highlighting and selecting the best watch of the past year. You can chose from all 60 nominated watches, voting on the official CH24 Watch of the Year website – woty.pl.
CH24 Watch of the Year partners are Porsche and Jura, and the media partner is Vogue Polska. Honorary patron over the event is held by the Swiss Embassy in Poland.
The final of the 15th edition of the competition is coming up in October!
